The Deliciae Ensemble, founded by Ramon Marques, brings a sophisticated performance of early music performed on period instruments. This ensemble, consisting of laureates of the Royal Conservatoire The Hague, has specialised in the authentic performance practice of repertoire from the Italian Renaissance and Baroque.
By focusing on lesser-known but artistically very high-quality repertoire, Deliciae Ensemble offers an innovative listening experience. Led by Ramon Marques, a young very talented conductor and trombonist, the ensemble has performed on international stages, including the Fabulous Fringe of the Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht 2024.
