Anywave 2025

Anywave has been around since the early 1980s. The idea originated from a group of regional musicians who traveled to the famous Pinkpop festival every year. With so many local bands on the island, they thought, a festival on Schouwen-Duiveland should also be possible. Said and done, as on June 27, 1981, Anywave kicked off with eleven local artists. Over the years, we have grown into a widely recognized festival, showcasing the diversity of Dutch music culture. Not only do regional bands perform, but many national artists also come to showcase their talents.
