8. Wing Bunker and Hospital Bunker
The hospital bunker, one of the largest in the region, was specially built to care for the sick and wounded and is now used for (youth) fire brigade exercises. The nearby Wing Bunker, also called the Whale Bunker because of its shape, served as a command bunker with 15 rooms focused on communication. On its roof is an armored observation dome. In the summer months, this bunker is open to the public on Saturday afternoons.
