Adriaanskerk Dreischor

The Adriaanskerk in the ring village of Dreischor is a medieval church dedicated to Saint Adrianus. Located in the center of the village, the church is surrounded by a moat and a ring-shaped street with buildings. The oldest part of the church dates back to 1340 and is the choir. After the Reformation, the church was used as a Protestant church and still retains this function.

The village of Dreischor was dyked in the twelfth century and received a parish church dedicated to Saint Adrianus. However, due to a flood in 1287, the village disappeared and was only rebuilt decades later. The church was extended with the choir in 1340 and later became a two-aisled hall church.
