De Boulevard

It is a bit like the living room of Haamstede, clothes shop De Boulevard. You can buy a pair of jeans, a nice outdoor jacket or a nice dress, but you also come home to owners Johan and Else and their help and stay José Dekker. In the middle of the shop, you can sit down at the 'Stammtisch' for a chat. Johan: "We have been doing this since 1997 and because we have been here for so long, we have seen a generation grow with us. People who used to come here on holiday with their parents now come with their families themselves. That's super fun." The clientele therefore ranges from young to old. If you don't find a piece of clothing for yourself there once, you might find a nice bracelet or a new wallet. The Boulevard's speciality, however, remains jeans. Across the entire left-hand wall of the shop you will find a huge collection. "We have the usual sizes, but also large: for women up to 48, for men up to 62. And even length 38. You don't find that everywhere," says Johan. Besides clothes, there is also a department with deco items and even an outlet. So at De Boulevard you will always find something to suit you....
