Huisje de Pottere
In Noordgouwe, we can find the beautiful "Pottere" houses, also known as "Conyers" houses, on the historic Heereweg. These unique houses were built in 1651 by Maria de Pottere, a descendant of Hendrik de Pottere and wife of Knight Ion Conyer. Originally, the houses were built to support widows of fallen officers and are now an important historical monument.
