Bijkerk Bouw is one of the oldest companies in the Netherlands. Its history dates back to the seventeenth century. Even though Pieter van Moort took over the company in 2011, the name has remained the same, and it is still a family business. Pieter, along with his team, works there with his wife and two sons. You can turn to Bijkerk Bouw for new construction, remodeling, and renovations. The company mainly focuses on the private sector but also regularly undertakes projects for the hospitality and retail industries. Pieter says, "The diversity of our clients is wonderful. You come across all sorts of different people to work with, which also helps us gain knowledge and experience." During these projects, Pieter or the project manager becomes the main contact for the client. There is no separate project manager, which keeps the communication lines short. After all these years and countless beautiful projects, Pieter is still enthusiastic about serving his clients. "Construction is creative work. You see something grow during a project; it's satisfying to bring that to life. We consider it important to get it right the first time and to deliver quality. When you see that it makes customers happy, it gives us motivation and satisfaction.
