After a long career at various offices, where they were sometimes colleagues as well, Nic-Jan and Cherinda decided to start their own business together. Both have a strong passion for the profession, but they also saw that they wanted to do things differently. And that's possible when you start your own office. "We wanted to give it a different twist and have more client contact," Cherinda explains. "People also want to share their story. We have the space to take the time for that. The small-scale aspect is important to us; the threshold should be low." Nic-Jan and Cherinda have their own tasks, but they work from the same mailbox. Nic-Jan says,We both work with all clients. That way, we know exactly what's going on and can replace each other if necessary." The office has many entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small to medium-sized businesses as clients, but individuals are also welcome. The duo emphasizes that they find it important to always be accessible to everyone. "We respond as quickly as possible, and we are open to everyone. You can just walk in." Nic-Jan finds this the most enjoyable profession there is. "When I work for entrepreneurs, I especially love seeing how they start a business in something they're really good at and continue to expand it. They have so much passion, and that's great to see." Cherinda also loves her work. "I was always good with numbers, so I wanted to get into administration. Contrary to what many people think, it's far from boring!"
