Camping Duinoord

Anyone who pays a visit to the beach of Westenschouwen can confirm: right there at the bottom of the beach access lies Camping Duinoord, in a truly beautiful location. Long ago, it used to be an orchard. In the 1960s, it was transformed into a campsite. The family business, which also includes Landgoed Duinoord, is now managed by brothers Maghiel and Pieter Hanse. Pieter explains: "My brother Maghiel quickly knew he wanted to run this business. It took me a bit longer to decide. Since we could start developing the new location Landgoed Duinoord on Westerseweg from 2003, I saw a great opportunity there. Setting up a new area like that is fun and diverse work. Maghiel and I now each manage our own part, so the tasks are nicely divided." On Camping Duinoord, every vacationer can find something to their liking: touring pitches, holiday homes, chalets, or just 'traditional' tent sites. The Hanse family aims to preserve camping while also creating space for luxurious recreation. Once you've secured a spot, you have numerous options to spend your day. Pieter says, "That's the beauty of this place. You can leave your car here and do a lot of things. There's peace, space, and yet everything is within reach. Active outings, beach, forest, and nice restaurants in the vicinity.
