The Zeelandic name already indicates that the foundation of the Dambruin family's business is formed by an orchard. Where once it provided a harvest for livelihood, the old orchard is now a campsite, and there are various group accommodations on the approximately eight-hectare property. All of them are peacefully and shelteredly situated. Niek Dambruin belongs to the third generation running the business and has been doing so since the late 90s. 'Our accommodations are designed for complete self-catering. Each accommodation is privately located with its own play area and parking. Due to the variation in setup and size, people can choose what suits their group.' In addition to the accommodations, there are mobile homes, camping spaces, and comfort sites with sanitary facilities. 'Camping in the orchard is an experience in itself,' Niek believes. 'It provides a wonderful and natural feeling to have a vacation in this environment.' It's not a punishment for him to work here either. 'It's amazing to operate in this beautiful green place with the beach around the corner and to be your own boss. If you have a summer that's so beautiful that you can enjoy it yourself, then it's absolutely perfect.
