Familiecamping Groenewoud

One of the oldest campsites in Burgh-Haamstede is Family Campground Groenewoud. And with an area of 17 hectares, it's also one of the largest. However, you won't get the feeling of being on a massive campground here, quite the opposite. The friendly atmosphere of the past still prevails. Now, the fourth generation is at the helm: Piet-Jan van Damme and his children Samantha and Davy are ready to welcome you with great enthusiasm. Samantha says, 'Our campground has 219 pitches, and we have guests who have been coming here for 35 years. It's nice that we've built warm relationships with many of them over time. What we hear from our guests is that they appreciate our service and that our restroom facilities are always in great condition. The kids love the swimming pond and the cable car. We also have a fishing pond and a heated pool.' As the name suggests, Family Campground Groenewoud offers entertainment for both young and old. There's tranquility, but also liveliness.
