Gillis and Lenneke Straijer started their construction company as early as 1988. As is common in an area like Burgh-Haamstede, they quickly became involved in recreational projects. It's no wonder that they specialized in designing and realizing recreational parks with Ecoparks. Lenneke says, "Since 1996, we have realized various parks in the Zeeland province, always emphasizing the human scale, energy management, and integration into the environment." With Ecoparks, Gillis and Lenneke aim to stand out by utilizing innovative possibilities in energy management and recycling. "We are involved in the entire process from design to turn-key delivery and consider it very important to keep the long-term effect in mind. The goal should be that people enjoy the built environment for years to come. We believe that it's necessary for a long-term connection to exist between the developer and the user.
