Havenhoofd Zierikzee Luisterpaal bruinvissen

At the Zierikzee Harbor Head, you can listen to the sounds of swimming harbor porpoises through the Listening Pole of Studio Bruinvis. Experience the wonders of nature and enjoy this unique listening experience at the harbor head.

Molen Windlust

Discover Windlust Mill in Brouwershaven. This functional corn mill from 1935 is located at Slingerbos and has a span of 7.35 meters. The octagonal mill is small but definitely worth a visit.

Kerkwerve

Kerkwerve is a village on Schouwen-Duiveland with around 990 inhabitants. It originated around 1200 during the diking of Schouwen. The church is built on a mound, which explains the name. Until 1997, Kerkwerve was part of Middenschouwen and has a historic municipal coat of arms.

Molen De Zwaan

Visit Molen De Zwaan, a black octagonal ground-sailer built in 1886 in Moriaanshoofd (Kerkwerve). This corn mill replaced an older post mill and is a valuable cultural heritage.

Scharendijke

Elkerzee

Elkerzee was once a village with a church, school, and shops. Mentioned as Hildchereshe in 1156, later Elegarsee and Elcherzee. After severe damage from the North Sea Flood of 1953, the church was demolished. What remains is a hamlet with a rich history.

Standbeeld Pieter Mogge

Pieter Mogge was an influential Zeeland regent who distinguished himself both politically and socially. He left behind a large fortune and had plans to establish a university in Zierikzee, although this was never realized.

Perry's Events

Enjoy the ultimate beach experience with Perry's Events. At Beachclub Perry's, you can enjoy various watersport activities, including banana boating, flyboarding, paddleboarding, skimboarding, and kayak rentals.

Uitkijkpunt Kiekuut

The beautiful observation point Kiekuut, the place to spot birds. Enjoy the breathtaking view and observe various bird species in their natural habitat.

Cameramuseum

The Camera Museum in Zierikzee showcases the history of photography with over 4,000 cameras, a working darkroom, and a 1910 photo studio. Have your picture taken in traditional Zeeland costume and discover the magic of imagery. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 1:00–5:00 PM.

Antje de Waaij-Blom was born in Dreischor and remained faithful to the traditional Schouwen costume all her life. She became a symbol of a fading tradition and was honored in Dreischor with a statue commemorating her and Zeeland’s rich heritage.

Zeilschip De Scaldis

Step aboard the sailing ship De Scaldis and go sailing on the beautiful Oosterschelde! Help raise the sails and enjoy the peace and nature around you. At low tide, you can even spot seals.

Dorpsstrand Viane

The little beach at Viane on the Oosterschelde is a hidden gem for those seeking peace and nature. At low tide, a narrow sandy strip appears, surrounded by mudflats and salt marshes. Enjoy sea air, birds, and wide-open views in perfect tranquility.

Cor Swenne was headmaster and conductor in Ouwerkerk. Music was his great passion. Born in Sprang, he grew up in a musical family and later became known as a dedicated teacher and musical leader.

Prunjehil

At the Prunjehil, you have a unique viewpoint with three aspects: meeting point, information point, and observation point over the nature reserve. Enjoy the breathtaking view and learn more about the surroundings.

Dorpsstrand en recreatiegebied West Repart

West Repart village beach and recreation area is a peaceful, green destination where visitors can enjoy nature and relaxation. The area offers a sandy beach for sunbathing and swimming, as well as sports fields, playgrounds, and walking paths.

Jachtwerf Brouwershaven

Renesse

Renesse is the vibrant tourist heart of Schouwen-Duiveland. With wide beaches, lively beach pavilions, shops, and scenic walking routes, there is always something to enjoy. The fairytale-like Moermond Castle completes the picture. Renesse has something for everyone and never disappoints.

Zierikzee

Zierikzee, with around 11,500 inhabitants, is a true city on Schouwen-Duiveland. Known as the "Monument City" with 569 national monuments, historic gates, and the impressive "Dikke Toren" (Fat Tower). Enjoy culture, a lively city center, the harbor, shops, and cozy restaurants.

Zeil- & Surfcentrum Brouwersdam

Welcome to our Sailing & Surf Center at the Brouwersdam! From April to November, we offer windsurfing and sailing courses, and SUP activities. After the summer, we transform into a winter sports resort by the sea with ski and snowboard lessons and equipment maintenance.
