Beldert

De Beldert is a hamlet on Schouwen-Duiveland and the former harbor of Dreischor. Since the damming of the Dijkwater in 1954, it has lost its harbor function. Today, it is a peaceful place with historical value, located within the village limits of Dreischor.

Off-leash area Schelphoek

In the eastern part of the Schelphoek, dogs are allowed off-leash on the trails. This area lies between Fritureluur and the Schelphoek viewpoint. In the rest of the area, dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash in the forest.

Standbeeld Witte van Haamstede

Witte van Haamstede, illegitimate son of Floris V, became a Zeeland war hero. He fought bravely for the liberation of Zeeland and lived at Slot Haamstede. His statue by the castle, a tribute to his heroism, was donated by the Renesse Foundation.
