Standbeeld Jacob Cats

Jacob Cats, born in Brouwershaven, was an influential 17th-century poet and statesman, known for his moralistic poems. His statue in Brouwershaven was recently restored, and a bronze replica was placed on the Markt to commemorate his legacy.

De Haene House

Dating from the 14th century, this merchant's house is one of the largest and oldest preserved private properties in our country and the oldest residential house in Zierikzee.

Den Osse

Den Osse consists of several campsites and a marina. Just behind the dike of the Grevelingenmeer, you’ll find Summio Parc, Port Greve and Camping Den Osse. With a variety of dining options, there's plenty to enjoy for everyone.

Varreput

The Varreput, located near the Dikke Toren in Zierikzee, was once used as a rinsing place for fabrics. Woven materials were then stretched out on nearby streets to dry on special frames, known as "ramen." This site is a reminder of the city's rich textile history.

Getijdenpoel

The tidal pool in Bruinisse lets you explore the sea life of the Oosterschelde up close. At low tide, you’ll spot crabs, shrimp, small fish, and anemones in shallow pools. Bring a net and go exploring at the foot of the dike. Fun for families and nature lovers!

W.V. Zierikzee

Watersport Association Zierikzee has been an active community since 1961, with around 200 members. Every year, we organise a varied programme of sailing races, clinics and other activities for all ages who share a passion for the water.

Cameramuseum

The Camera Museum in Zierikzee showcases the history of photography with over 4,000 cameras, a working darkroom, and a 1910 photo studio. Have your picture taken in traditional Zeeland costume and discover the magic of imagery. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 1:00–5:00 PM.

Adriaanskerk Dreischor

The Adriaanskerk in Dreischor is a medieval church dating from 1340, dedicated to Saint Adrian. Located in the ring village and surrounded by a moat, the church forms the historical heart of the village. Since the Reformation, it has served as a Protestant church.
