Getijdenpoel

Standbeeld hondje Bläsz

Bläsz, the brave little dog from Scharendijke, saved dozens of cows and calves during the 1953 North Sea Flood by driving them to the dike. His heroic deed is commemorated with a statue on Bethlehemplein, donated by the Renesse Foundation.

Boswachterij Westerschouwen

Visit the largest forest in Zeeland: Boswachterij Westerschouwen. State Forestry Agency has set out various routes here, ideal for a hike or bike ride in beautiful nature.

Cameramuseum

The Camera Museum in Zierikzee showcases the history of photography with over 4,000 cameras, a working darkroom, and a 1910 photo studio. Have your picture taken in traditional Zeeland costume and discover the magic of imagery. Open Tuesday to Sunday, 1:00–5:00 PM.

Molen Windlust

Discover Windlust Mill in Brouwershaven. This functional corn mill from 1935 is located at Slingerbos and has a span of 7.35 meters. The octagonal mill is small but definitely worth a visit.

Strand Grevelingendam Noordzijde

Brouwershaven

The most beautiful town on the Grevelingen is the second city on Schouwen-Duiveland to receive city rights, granted in 1403. With a marina, historic center, and the statue of poet and jurist Jacob Cats, the town is steeped in history. The large church and village charm define Brouwershaven.

Burgh-Haamstede

Burgh-Haamstede consists of five village centres, each with its own charm: from historic Slot Haamstede and the marina in Burghsluis to the dunes of Nieuw-Haamstede and the forest of Westenschouwen. A varied destination full of peace, space and stories.

Elkerzee

Elkerzee was once a village with a church, school, and shops. Mentioned as Hildchereshe in 1156, later Elegarsee and Elcherzee. After severe damage from the North Sea Flood of 1953, the church was demolished. What remains is a hamlet with a rich history.

Dorpsstrand Bommenede

Bommenede village beach is an idyllic and peaceful spot on Lake Grevelingen. Perfect for swimming, watersports, and relaxing in a natural setting with beautiful views and calm water.

Nieuwe Kerk Zierikzee
