Lutherse kerk Zierikzee

De Haene House

Dating from the 14th century, this merchant's house is one of the largest and oldest preserved private properties in our country and the oldest residential house in Zierikzee.

Standbeeld Adriaan en Janneko Heule

Adriaan and Janneko Heule were dedicated to education and community life in Sirjansland. Their commitment to the school and village is forever honored with a bronze statue by Vincent Krans, donated by the Renesse Foundation.

Brijdorpe

Brijdorpe is a small hamlet first mentioned in 1232. The name refers to the word brij, meaning the muddy, wet soil on which it was built, typical of the Zeeland landscape at the time.

Nationaal Monument Watersnood 1953

The National Monument Flood Disaster 1953 consists of four caissons, which were recognized as a monument 50 years after the disaster. These caissons can now be visited at the Flood Museum.

Standbeeld hondje Bläsz

Bläsz, the brave little dog from Scharendijke, saved dozens of cows and calves during the 1953 North Sea Flood by driving them to the dike. His heroic deed is commemorated with a statue on Bethlehemplein, donated by the Renesse Foundation.
